Stephanie Eveler moved to Bliss Salon!

Stephanie Eveler moved to Bliss Salon and needed a work station custom built to fit her new space. This buffet has inset doors and drawers. The doors also contain a picture frame panel. The unit itself is painted, distressed, and glazed to achieve an antique look. The top is made of granite with a waterfall edge. This awesome piece of furniture not only allows product display but also gives Steph ample storage and organization for tools and supplies.

Jimmy & Julie's New Home!

Jimmy & Julie's New Home!

This new construction project has Shaker Style throughout. The drawer fronts contain eased edges while the doors have 1/4" panels and Shaker mid stiles. The bathrooms have marble counter tops with built in bowls.  The kitchen has 42" tall upper cabinets with custom doors I built especially for Jimmy and Julie. The base cabinets contain pull out shelving and a hide away trash can. The cabinets were built from Red Oak lumber with a Cinnamon stain. The main focus in this kitchen is the HUGE island. The top itself is over 5' deep by 7 1/2' wide. Plenty of room to entertain. This kitchen was the first time I've used a under mount sink with a laminate top. Jimmy and Julie love it!

As you can see in the pictures, this family went with staggered height cabinets that are made of Bech, they contain raised panel doors and finished ends. There are Laminate counter tops with a beveled edge throughout. The island was painted off white and glazed. It also contains raised paneled ends, but if you notice there are also posts on each corner.

I was given the opportunity to work in one of Jefferson City's top salons during their remodel! I built a "U" shaped reception desk along with a 12' long work area that allows more room for organization and storage. The front of the reception desk has raised panels and fluted posts to make it look more like a piece of furniture.  I also used Kim's origional mirros and reframed them to achieve more of a relaxing but elegant atmosphere!

Stephanie's Kitchen before and after!

Steph's new kitchen has Birch cabinets with raised panel doors and undermount drawer tracks. The stain is Harvest End with a Semi-gloss finish. She also has a new Hi def laminate countertop with a beveled front edge. The tile backsplash is a 2" by 2' mosaic. Hardware is 3" oil rubbed bronze handel and a 1 1/4" knob.

Steph's old kitchen had flat plywood doors and drawer fronts that had been painted. The hinges were exposed on the doors and the drawers had wooden slides. If you would, notice the waisted space by the fridge and the stove. With this layout she had almost no storage and hardley any work space on the countertop. She didn't even have a dishwasher! Wow, what a difference a different layout can make.
